The following statement regarding an impending hospitalization of Bishop Jonathan D. Keaton was released by the Michigan Area Bishop earlier today:
"A routine visit to my family doctor and other physicians in late May revealed that I need major surgery. Although surgery has not been scheduled, it will most likely take place in late June or early July. Beverly, the rest of the family and I gratefully solicit your prayers."
