Bishop Keaton recovering steadily, should be back to work soon

Earlier this summer Michigan Area Bishop Jonathan D. Keaton announced he was going to undergo "major surgery" and he asked for prayers and support.

Today, the Michigan Area Episcopal Office announce Keaton's recovery is progressing well and he should be back to work in less than two weeks.

"Bishop Jonathan D. Keaton continues to recover at home following major surgery in July," a press release from the office stated. "Bishop and Mrs. Keaton appreciate everyone’s prayers and understanding during this convalescent portion of his healing process. They are especially grateful for the many acts of kindness which have been shown them.

Bishop Keaton will begin working from home on August 22 and will resume a full schedule in the office September 6th following Labor Day.
